Travel has always
been part of our
story.
Oliver’s Big Adventure Travel Co. was built around two things I love very much: travel and my family.
I’m Brittney, a vacation planner, lifelong traveler, and mom to Oliver, the little guy who inspired the name behind all of this. OBA started because I wanted to build a career I genuinely loved while creating more time and flexibility to be present with my son.
Somehow, those two dreams came together perfectly through travel.
I’ve basically been traveling since before I can remember.
I’ve been visiting Walt Disney World since I was one year old. Growing up in Central Florida meant that some of my favorite childhood memories happened in the parks.
Travel eventually became much more than something I loved doing. It became my career, one of my favorite things to research, and eventually the foundation for a business built around helping other people create memories of their own.
Four Generations
of Disney Magic
My grandma shared Disney with my dad, my dad shared it with me, and now I get to experience it all over again through Oliver’s eyes.
During Oliver’s first Disney trip, we celebrated my grandma’s 97th birthday and captured four generations together on Main Street.
Disney may have my heart, but the world is a really big place.
Theme parks were the beginning of my love for travel, not the end of it. I love everything from cruises and relaxing resorts to road trips, national parks, international adventures, adults-only escapes, and those bucket-list vacations people spend years dreaming about.
The best vacation isn’t the one everyone else says you should take. It’s the one that fits you.
Meet the Spellmans
The people, tiny and otherwise, behind Oliver’s Big Adventure.
Brittney
Vacation planner, adventure lover, EPCOT girl, and the person behind the itineraries.
If there’s a trip to research, a resort to compare, or a tiny detail to obsess over, I’m probably already three steps ahead.
Oliver
Tiny traveler, professional stroller passenger, and the inspiration behind Oliver’s Big Adventure.
He’s already building an impressive résumé of theme parks, resorts, character encounters, road trips, and snacks.
Bryant
Dad, husband, and usually the hardest Spellman to spot in our theme park photos.
Bryant works in construction in and around Orlando’s theme parks, so while Oliver and I are enjoying the parks, there’s a good chance he’s somewhere nearby helping build the magic.
A Few Adventures Along the Way
A Pearl From EPCOT
One of my favorite pieces of our story started in EPCOT’s Japan Pavilion.
Bryant and I picked out a pearl together. Later, he carefully drilled a hole into that same pearl, set it into a ring, and used it when he proposed to me.
Because pearls are delicate, we eventually chose my sparkly everyday dream princess ring together too. But that little EPCOT pearl will always be one of my favorite pieces of our story.
Travel planning isn’t just something I do. It’s what I built my career around.
Before OBA, I spent years working professionally in the travel industry, including with a luxury cruise line.
I worked directly with travelers planning vacations and eventually moved into leadership, training and developing other vacation planners.
That experience taught me that great planning is about asking the right questions, noticing the little things, and turning hundreds of possibilities into the few that actually fit you.
The Quick Version
What Working With Me Looks Like
You’re not handing your vacation to a booking engine. You have an actual person in your corner.
Tell Me What You’re Dreaming About
Even if all you know is “Disney,” “somewhere warm,” or “we desperately need a vacation.”
I’ll Sort Through the Options
Resorts, ships, destinations, transportation, experiences, and all the details that can quickly become overwhelming.
We Build a Trip That Fits You
Not somebody else’s vacation. Not a cookie-cutter itinerary. Your trip.
You get personal planning, recommendations, and support without an additional planning fee from me.
Big adventures. Bigger memories.
Some trips are about seeing somewhere new. Some are about celebrating something huge. And sometimes the moments you remember most are the ones you never planned at all.
That’s the kind of memory I want travel to make room for.
